I love bridges so much, not only for their construction but also for what they represent. And there are so many of them in NYC!

I love bridges as well, the Humble Fabulist, mostly for the engineering challenge and for their natural or less natural elegance. Have a great day.

I have a gorgeous photo of the GW through the fog. I’ll have to find it. So, the question is….where were you going?

Oh yes please! We’ve only seen it in clear days like Saturday – it must look otherworldly through the fog! We weren’t going anywhere in particular, the idea was to walk the bridge and soak up the views. But the park on the other side offers a nice walk too. I found out one can actually walk all the way south, more or less on a path (although in some parts the path breaks) – I don’t think we’ll ever do this, late birds as we are but will try it at least in part. xxx

I’ll have to look through a mish-mosh of old photos. That’s something for a plane ride, right?!?!?
