Do the guradians have that ‘guilty’ look? Do they seem sluggish like they might have a sugar (stevia, honey…?) hangover? Any crumbs in their vicinity?

Yes!! I kept watch for a couple of days and, as a matter of fact, there were crumbs! But I still couldn’t pinpoint the culprit! It couldn’t have been Santa, could it?

Quite possibly. I’ve heard he is always in a rush and on the run so I imagine he leaves a few crumbs scattered here and there.
