The first time we saw it was when we did the Manhattan round by boat. Since then, I wanted to go back on foot and have a good look – I’m a huge fan of lighthouses 🙂 And the walk from Fort Tryon Park to Fort Washington Park is really nice… not to mention the views over this titanic bridge!

This is news to me. Makes me wonder what’s fabulous things are hiding under the bridges we often travel.

It’s barely visible if you cross the bridge on foot (because the bridge is so high and the lighthouse so small); but not visible at all, if you travel by car. I love crossing bridges on foot, whenever possible, there is so much more to see!
