Upstairs, downstairs

and a lovely garden surrounding the Vanderbilt Mansion at Hyde Park, which is considered ”modest” compared to other Vanderbilt Mansions (but no less exquisite, in my view).

I only wish we could have enjoyed the gardens more, but for the scorching afternoon heat.
