This isn’t art…. it is a crime scene…! – exclaimed a woman close beside me as I was taking photos. That may have been the most accurate description of this installation, yet!
On the chillier side of wanderlust, part of the High Line Art commissions.

Why was it a crime scene? I didn’t get it..

It was a sleeping bag thrown under the bridge full of stones and rubble. It did look kinda creepy – easy to imagine some sort of a crime scene… To me it looked more like, well, rubble 😊

I saw that on the High Line last Spring and thought “why bother”? XO

It’s a fine line between art and rubbish and this one is closer to the latter, I’m afraid… had it been in Greece, I’d have dismissed it as rubble (it’s quite common to find under bridges, people get rid of the stuff and no one bothers to remove it)!
