Incredible. Love the icicle photo the most.

🙂 My favourite were the ice patches – I’d never seen a river freeze before!

Lia, You are most welcome! Thanks much – it must be you behind the glorious rain that has visited for the last 24 hours. After 7 months of waiting it’s quite welcome. You are so thoughtful. Stay warm!

I find these photographs striking, especially like the surrealistic quality is see in # 10 from the top. Stark and crisp enhanced by black and white.
Curious about your camera and settings if you are willing to share.

Thank you for your kind words and interest, Arati! B&W brings out a certain mood, I agree… I take pictures on my cell phone – currently the Pixel 2 XL – and edit them mainly on Topaz Studio.

Nice photos. They made me feel cold just looking at them!

Haha not that you needed them, right? It’s not every year we can see the river freeze!

Fabulous collection. I really get I feel of the cold. Especially love the icicles and how they give an indication of the freezing wind 🙂

It was brutal 🙂 I hadn’t been that cold since my skiing days in the (snow) stormy Alps – more than 15 years ago!
