Literally.
Light reflects on the glass adding – or hiding – details. I tried to filter them out somewhat and the result was this mellow, pastel effect. Still, rather pleasing.

Thank you so much David! The Society of Illustrators is located in a lovely townhouse, huge as a family house but tiny as a museum/gallery space. These gems are not always on view so I was thrilled to have caught them.

I know exactly what you mean, your list must be about the same size as ours and there’s always something interesting to make it even longer. But, since you like comics and illustration, this is a place you’d enjoy.
