Love you too, Son…!

This poster on the window of a barber shop in Port Authority Subway, kept poking me; something about his sideways glance, unintentionally funny face and the ”Love, Mother” logo made me smile, every time.

Both the barber shop and the poster are gone now, but not without a trace: a brief search returned an interesting post on ”Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York” website as well as what ”this sideways glance” was all about.

    1. Hi Val, been traveling quite a lot and using the wp app on my cell phone, which – took me a while to realize – shows comments in a different sequence than they appear when using the browser. Now doing some ‘housekeeping’ and found out that I still have a whole lot of comments left unattended! Just wanted to let you know that it was unintentional. Also, took me more than a while to understand what ”Mother” was all about, a couple of months at least. And the ”funny face” was actually an employee at the vanished barber shop, not a model. They couldn’t have found a more interesting face if they tried! Pity they couldn’t save the shop…
