Ah-ha! The parachute drop tower, quite a famous site at Coney Island!! I haven’t been there since I was a pre-teen.

A striking structure isn’t it? I can only imagine the thrills of those first ‘parachuters’!

When I first saw it, I asked my father if he’d go on it for “old time sake”…. he said he had his thrills during the service. He’d only jump again if a plane was broke down.

I don’t know John, these Brooklynites are quite attached to their NYC Landmarks 🙂 Still, a good idea indeed!

All it takes are some specific electrical connections, and perhaps a kilowatt of RF from an input RF driver to load that thing up as a transmit/receive antenna! 😂😬

Aha! So, if after a couple of years I learn of that incredible new antenna in Brooklyn, I will know who to thank!
